Virex
Virex is a brand name given to Calcium Hypochlorite (chlorine), a decontamination powder used in decontaminating harmful micro-organisms. It is mainly used by hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics. The main use of the product is to decontaminate and sterilize medical equipment/instruments to protect patients and health workers from transmission of diseases. This product has been marketing by CRS since 1995 and is the first product marketed by CRS through its own revenue sources.
It is available at Rs. 17.50 per bottle for institutions/wholesalers and at Rs.20 at retail level.
